WE PRESENT YOU F22 ALIGNER
The latest generation of orthodontic aligners
Crystal clear, practical and with maximum comfort.
It is there but you can't see it.
You wear it and you don't feel it. F22 is a system of thin removable orthodontic appliances called aligners, which completely cover the dental arches. Custom made in a unique clear plastic material they are able to treat a wide range of alignment problems.

F22 is easily removable to ensure maximum oral hygiene and to allow you to eat meals in total freedom.

Thanks to the complete contact between the aligners and your arch, the control of tooth movements is very precise and the results highly predictable. Through an exclusive 3D viewer your dentist will be able to show you the treatment plan in which you will see the progressive displacement of the teeth up to the optimal planned result.

You wear it and you don't feel it, thanks to the high elasticity, the rounded edges and no roughness. The edges are finished by hand with particular care through a special technique developed by the School of Specialization in Orthodontics of Ferrara.

Invisible orthodontics: how it works
The most popular aesthetic orthodontic treatment for adults in the world.
Invisible orthodontics consists of a series of transparent and removable aligners that are replaced approximately every two weeks.
Each aligner is specially made thanks to the use of 3D software that can also show in advance what will be the appearance of the teeth at the end of the treatment.
The teeth move, slowly, week after week, until they are aligned in the final position predefined by the dentist. Nobody will notice that you are using this “transparent appliance”. Unlike fixed metal braces, with invisible dental braces you will have the possibility to eat and drink what you want during the treatment by simply removing the aligners. You will be able to remove the aligners to brush your teeth and floss as you usually do.
How transparent orthodontic treatment works
Invisible Orthodontics treatment begins with a session in the office, we will visit you, take impressions of your teeth and develop a computer model for your treatment. Together with us and in front of a PC, you will be able to review and approve the treatment even before the series of customized aligners for you is produced.
Each aligner is slightly different and gradually moves the teeth to the desired position. You will use each aligner for about two weeks before moving on to the next set. The duration of treatment varies depending on the case, an average treatment with invisible orthodontics takes from 9 to 24 months.
During the treatment we will check you periodically to monitor your progress and make sure that everything is running smoothly until we have achieved the desired result. After that, all you have to do is show your beautiful new smile!
The main advantages of invisible orthodontics
Predictable treatment. This is an advance planning; we could accurately tell you when your treatment will end
You can view the treatment (start and end) thanks to a specific 3D software
Unlike traditional fixed braces, there are NO brackets or wires
The luminaire is transparent and therefore invisible
You can remove the aligners for eating, brushing and flossing
Improved gum health through improved oral hygiene
No allergies or metal damage to the oral cavity
The aligners are replaced every two weeks so the teeth move little by little
If you suddenly have to leave Italy for a period of time, you can continue to use the devices
Results are often achieved within 6 months or 1 year.
(On average it takes 18-24 months). The results are however guaranteed.
Orthodontic problems treatable with transparent aligners:
Dental crowding
Dental crowding occurs when there is not enough space in the jaw to hold all the teeth normally. If left untreated, dental crowding can increase the risk of gum disease, as teeth are more difficult to clean, and reduce normal tooth function.
Strong tooth spacing (diastema)
Strong tooth spacing occurs when the jaw has excessive space. This problem can be caused by small teeth size, abnormal jaw bone growth, genetic factors, missing teeth and / or tongue protrusion. In case of missing teeth the problem can also be due to the displacement of the neighboring tooth due to the empty space. Spacing problems can lead to periodontal disorders, such as gingivitis and periodontitis, which, if left untreated, can lead to tooth loss.
Crossbite care
Crossbite occurs when the upper and lower arches are misaligned with each other. Usually the consequence is that one or more teeth of the upper arch occlude behind the teeth of the lower arch. This problem can occur on the front of the mouth, on the sides, or both. It can cause tooth erosion, gum disease and bone loss.
Deep bite (cure)
Deep Bite or Overbite occurs when the upper teeth have significant overlap compared to the lower teeth. It is generally due to genetic factors, poor oral habits, or an overdevelopment of the bone that supports the teeth. This problem can cause gum discomfort or irritation and / or erosion of the lower teeth, as well as jaw pain and joint problems.
Care of the third classes
Lower arch protrusion (third class) occurs when the lower teeth protrude beyond the anterior teeth, usually due to underdevelopment of the upper arch, overgrowth of the jaw, or both. The problem can also be caused by missing upper teeth and can prevent normal function of the front teeth or molars, leading to tooth erosion. It can also cause jaw pain and joint problems.

Frequently Asked Questions About Invisible Braces (FAQ)
What material are the aligners (aligners) made of?
The virtually invisible masks are made of a specially developed durable medical grade thermoplastic material.
How many sessions are needed?
Appointments for orthodontic treatment generally take place with the same frequency as those of patients undergoing treatments with traditional appliances, but can nevertheless be much faster with shorter sessions, as there is no need to make adjustments to wires and brackets. A check-up visit is generally scheduled approximately every 2-4 weeks, to check the progress of the treatment and for the delivery of the next aligner set.
How long does the invisible orthodontic treatment last?
The total duration depends on the complexity of the treatment and is generally equivalent to that of traditional appliances. Generally a treatment can last from 9 to 24 months.
Are the sessions painful?
Some people may experience mild temporary discomfort for a few days at the start of each new treatment stage when a new aligner is worn. This is a normal condition, which is usually described as a feeling of pressure. It is a sign that the aligners are working and gradually moving the teeth towards the final result. The discomfort usually goes away within a couple of days.
Is it necessary to use a final restraint?
Wearing a restraint after any orthodontic treatment is an important precaution, as the teeth are kept stable in their new position. In order for the teeth to remain in the ideal position, it is best to wear a restraint. In many cases, the last aligner will be temporary restraint until the proper and definitive restraint option is established.
Should I avoid certain foods during the treatment?
No. Unlike traditional brackets and wires, you can eat and drink as much as you want, as the aligners are removable. For this reason, it is not necessary to limit the consumption of your favorite foods in any way. In addition, it is important to brush and floss after each meal and before wearing the aligners again to maintain proper oral hygiene.
How many hours a day should I wear the masks?
Aligners should always be worn during treatment and should only be removed for eating, brushing and flossing.
Will the aligners affect the way I speak?
Most patients reported no effect on pronunciation. However, as with traditional orthodontic devices, there is an initial adjustment period associated with the presence of a foreign body in the oral cavity.
Can I chew gum while wearing the aligners?
Chewing gum while wearing the aligners is not recommended, as the chewing gum may stick to the aligners. It is recommended that you remove the aligners before any meal or snack.
What is the best method to clean aligners?
For optimal cleaning of the aligners, it is necessary to brush them, rinse them with warm water and use a little amuchina or special cleaning tablets. It is important to brush your teeth after each meal and before wearing the aligners again to maintain proper oral hygiene.
